A quick score cannot tell the whole story. Every student-athlete develops differently. If you want a deeper look at your athlete's environment, goals, and long-term path, Coach BJ can help.

This tool is not grading your parenting or your athlete. It is simply designed to highlight questions worth asking. Coaching perspective only, not professional psychological or medical advice.

Who is Coach BJ?

Coach BJ spent seventeen years coaching and recruiting at the Division I level, including stops at the University of Notre Dame and Duke University. He knows what the long game looks like.

But he also knows what it looks like from the other side. Since 2022 he has coached youth basketball, managed little league dugouts, and watched firsthand how much better the experience goes when parents have someone in their corner who understands both sides of it.

He built The Ride Home Sports for one reason. To arm parents with the knowledge and perspective to make confident decisions for their student-athlete.
